Our community, our focus

  • According to the 2016 Census the residential population of Yarra Ranges Council is 155,312. In 2016 Anchor provided 6,579 episodes of housing and support services (compared to 3,312 in 2015).
  • In Knox City Council, there are more than 32,000 children under 18 years old. In 2015–16, Anchor facilitated 847 placements of children in our out-of-home care programs.
  • Homelessness in Maroondah City Council is around 30 in 10,000 and the official population as of the 30th June 2016, is 114,979.
