Home is... will be appearing at the
Yarra Ranges Regional Museum
35 – 37 Castella St, Lilydale
from October 5th to November 4th.

Home is... is a collection of photographs and written works by people who have experienced homelessness. It aims to build bridges between individuals experiencing homelessness, community service providers and general community by stimulating discussion and increasing awareness and understanding of the causes and consequences of a lack of affordable housing.

Through this exhibition you will see how ordinary people have experienced homelessness and the impact that not having safe, affordable housing has had on their lives. You will discover what 'home' is for people who don't have a regular place to live. And finally, you will share their hopes and aspirations for a future with a place which they can identify as 'home'.
